Bible reading: Philipians 4:13 - Many people often could not do anything because they simply always say that they cannot do them.
- If we say that we can’t do something, then we already give it up before we even try it.
- If we never try, then we would never be successful.
- Paul was someone who was very successful.
- He was more successful than the other apostles.
- Although Paul was not one of the twelve disciples that were specially called.
- Even though Paul experienced many difficulties and obstacles in his life.
- Paul experienced many struggles in his life and his servanthood (2 Corinthians 11:23-30).
- In fact Paul was described as someone who was not physically appealing. Most probably he had a small body, half bald, bent legs, eyes that almost met each other, bent nose like a parrot, and blurred eyes (Galatians 6:11).
- Every living man would experience a lot of struggles and problems, whether they are financial struggles, family, health, security, spiritual, etc.
- Even we – as the children of God would also experience many struggles, but God has promised to us to free us from all those (Psalms 34:20).
- God did not promise us that we would not experience struggles, but God promises us help and victory in each struggle.
