Bible Reading: Matthew 28:1-10
Today we are going to meditate on the Word of GOD with the theme “ HIS Resurrection brings victory”
Lord JESUS ‘ resurrection proves HIS Victory. - V2-6 the Devil thought they have won over LORD JESUS when the devil with all means had succeeded to use people to crucify Lord JESUS to death on the cross.
- The devil had succeeded in causing hatred in the heart of the Scribes and the priests to kill JESUS.
- The devil had succeeded in persuading Judas to betray Lord JESUS.
- The devil had succeeded in cornering Pilate so he was forced to issue a command to crucify Lord JESUS.
- The devil had succeeded in making Lord JESUS to finally die on the cross.
- The devil thought it was the greatest victory defeating Lord JESUS.
- However the resurrection of Lord JESUS shaken the devil and its kingdom.
- Because of Lord JESUS ‘ resurrection had proven the defeat of the devil and the victory of Lord Jesus.
