Bv2686 How does it help you to think about Jesus that way?If you look at the order in the universe, the beauty of the galaxy and the complexity of the creation,do you see any thing weird in it?Don’t you see someone pure and Holy behind all this. Now thinking about the most intelligent and the wises God and thinking that he might have being gay is completely wrong.Repent to God and ask him to reveal himself to you. Does a shepherd become a sheep just because he hangs out with them every day?
February 7, 2012 at 8:56 am
That is a terrible thing to say. You will go to hell forever. God wants gay people to be killed! It says so in the Bible. Jesus cannot be gay because then he would have had to kill himself like it commands in the bible, and then he would have gone to hell because he committed suicide and that’s a sin, it says so in the bible. So he must have been heterosexual because God created Adam and eve not adam and steve, even though Jesus never had sex, because that is a sin it says so in the bible.

Sometimes I think that because Jesus was always hanging around 12 men, that somewhere deep down inside he was gay.

@TSGdancer – Iron sharpens iron. Keep searching the scriptures. There’s plenty of sheep food in there for the whole flock of God.
May God bless your studies and your journey.

@TSGdancer – I agree that you have to consider the whole bible – so no dispute there
I think you will find that people believe because they ARE adopted, they do not believe to BECOME adopted. “And BECAUSE YE ARE SONS God hath sent forth the spirit of His son into your hearts crying Abba, Father.” (Gal 4:6). That verse teaches that it is the fact that you already ARE a son that God regenerated you and gave you the faith to believe. That’s a DEEP truth – if you enter into it. Blessings.

@theearstohear nice talking to you though..you definately put my faith to test and sharpened it. God bless

@theearstohear no my argument isnt with the bible. you cant take things out of context. acknowledgin the full story of the bible is necesary in interpresting every part b/c they are not independant of each other. God has the power to save anyone who puts their trust in him. the elect are those who are saved. u are adopted into God’s family when you are saved. john 3:16 (so that WHOEVER believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life[Jesus=the way, truth and life]

@TSGdancer – The pretemporal election of people unto salvation is PRECISELY what is taught in Ephesians 1:4. “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.” The choice in view here is pretemporal (before the foundation of the world), it is “in Christ”, and is prior to either conversion or church membership since it is before the dawn of time. Your argument is not with me, it is with the bible.

@theearstohear you can type this in on google
Romans 9: An Arminian/New Perspective Reading
February 7, 2012 at 3:06 pm
@theearstohear Paul refers to the elect as those who have already benefited from their election, but God views their condition prior to all that His activity will produce. The objects of election are unbelievers, who will become believers on account of their election. Eph2:3 is referring to all who hav not been saved including the saved when they were still of the world. in reference to rom 9:8 u can check this out if u want

@theearstohear in response to Eph 1:4 which i found very interesting and looked into:A Christian is only elect by virtue of Christ’s election, not on account of a pretemporal choice by God out of the mass of fallen humanity. It is at the point of conversion, i.e., a believer’s incorporation into the church, that election could be said to apply to any individual…

@TSGdancer – Christ died for the sheep (John 10:11) which are those chosen before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:4). They were all by nature children of wrath, even as others (Eph 2:3) who were not chosen by God to shed his mercy upon (Rom 9:18). People do not believe to BECOME sheep, they believe because they ARE sheep (John 10:27). One does not believe to get “in Christ”, being “in Christ” is why one believes. (John 8:47). You say “any can”, Christ said, “no man can…” (John 6:44).
February 7, 2012 at 4:38 pm
@theearstohear hi hun. jus interested by this conversation. nd this statement “he died for the elect (John 10:11). ” r u saying that Jesus didn’t die for the sins of the world, the worldy, the unrighteous? tho some are not sheep they are only not sheep because they are not in Jesus. “any man who be in Christ is a new creature.” and yes it is true that salvation is by grace. but grace through faith and faith by hearing. any1 can be saved.

@redredredtoo I would suggest that you do your own investigation of the church. Just because someone claims to be an expert doesn’t make them one. Some will call churches cult just because they don’t fit in their cute little box. I have known people that said that about a church I attended years ago and when asked why they believe that, it was because they didn’t believe exactly like them or the church was just too large it suppose to stay small. Even though thousand were added daily.

@TerrySiler11121967 Do not use our Lord to make money…we as Christians oppose abortion and other things why not using our Lord’s name in vain to make money? We have to speak out to guide others onto the right path. God bless.

@larrydholland Jesus was a humble man…this rock concert Hillsong flashiness would not be approved by Him. He taught that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man enter the kingdom of Heaven….A humble life and self sacrifice is what is required of a Christian…but Hillsongers with their flashy concerts, and high income for preachers like Brian are exploiting God’s work for profits! God bless you for your enquiring nature…
February 7, 2012 at 6:42 pm
@larrydholland They have been investigated by the Uniting church cult experts…as well as a book written called “people in glass houses”….

Brother, I think you are very confused, because what you have said you believe and what I have said I believe are polar opposites of each other. You say Christ died for all, but he died for the elect (John 10:11). You say salvation is a matter of man’s free will, but its of God’s (Eph 1:5). You say salvation is about an opportunity, but it’s about grace (Eph 2:8-9) You say all are sheep, but some are not (John 10:26). Do you want evangelical tradition and fanfare – or the word of God?
