  @tWiNxluvGOD – Yes, this song is indeed awesome.I was singing it at the very moment I fell down a flight of stairs. I cut my arm and had to walk on crutches for two weeks but were it not for this song I might have cracked my head so badly my brans would have come out and my pelvis shattered and I’d now be dead. This is proof that God exists! Thank you LORD!

  Jesus is awesome. He came to the world to rescue all of us.

  I sang this song before I had an accident. I was brought to the hospital and got labs and x-rays done. Thank God all results are normal. I only got abrasions. God is really powerful. To God be all glory! Thank You LORD.

  i waz bullied alot last year and i felt like god didnt care but what i didnt relize that he was there because if he wasnt i wouldnt have made it through HE came 2 my rescue

  @downunderdemocrat I agree that some songs dont mention the name of Jesus at all, but i guess when the writer wrote this his mind was on Jesus and kind of expected that christians would assume its on Jesus also, it says God so it can’t possibally be a wishy washy inspirational song because people either like God/Jesus or they don’t no one can like God, and not like Jesus or vise versa (im talking about the christian GOD)

  @downunderdemocrat You don’t need ‘jesus’ in a song to have it be for him ! Praise/Worship songs aren’t for the people , not for us . But to actually give praise and worship to GOD . He knows who we singing to . I’m sure .

  Why do a large number of Hillsong United Praise / Worship songs continually fail to even mention Jesus’ name? What they ashamed of the name of Jesus?
  Take this song for example, “I called you answered,” Who answered? A lot of these “modern songs” just come across as compromise to me. Nice none threatening songs to just boost the numbers. And not to offend.
